Marchbank Jewellery has been a thriving independent retailer and Jewellery design business situated in the heart of Frome for over 20 years.

Our highly experienced and talented team is headed by proprietor, Stephen Thomas. Goldsmith , Silversmith & designer, Stephen has over 34 years experience in jewellery design as well as antique restoration and repair.

Stephen trained in London in the 1970’s as a goldsmith and silversmith and has worked for prestige UK businesses such as Wakely & Wheeler carrying out contract work for companies such as Asprey and Mappin & Webb before setting up his own Jewellery Design business.

Our team at Marchbank Jewellery can advise and guide you through your requirements for commissioning jewellery, selecting a gift or enquiries for repair and restoration work.

We also offer a service where you can bring in your old unwanted gold jewellery and we can turn it into something new! We offer competitive rates for your unwanted gold and silver.

We buy and sell carefully selected vintage, antique and second hand pieces and offer valuations on all jewellery and silverware.

We can undertake resizing, repairs and commissions for all jewellery. We also carry out specialist repairs on antique silver-ware such as replacing Georgian teapot handles, re-silvering worn items and other repair and restoration work. This specialist work is unique to our business in the area. If you require this specialist repair work we can supply a competitive quotation if you can bring in the items for assessment.

Marchbank Jewellery also undertakes work for Heritage companies and is proud to be associated with the Royal Bath & West Society, Shepton Mallet, for whom we carry out work over seeing repairs, polishing and restoration of cups and trophies awarded at various events during the year including the annual Royal Bath and West Agricultural Show.
